Date with DAD

Musta na kayong lahat...Racquel and Ron have a pre Valentine date sa church girls who are in first grade to 6thgrade...this is her last year for that program..and she will be in the youth program..buti pa dalaga namin naidate nya pero ang nanay wala sya that time but okey lang...kaya si RJ sabi nya bakit daw walang Date with Mom..so ginawa ko pinagluto ko na lang sya gusto daw nya seafoods fish,shrimp at crab legs then with rice and soy sauce at tomatoes..he said mama can I use my hands oh di parang picnic style..sabi ko you have date with mom sa kitchen..we enjoyed it both then we watch a movie buti na lang tulog ang baby....nakausap ko father ko the other week while they are in manila at napag usapan nga namin yung fiesta..and I mentioned about our plan akala nya lahat tayo ay tig isang souvenir means 10th pesos each..sabi ko NO sabi ko isa lang share lang kaming lahat for our 25th anniv...may nasagap pa akong balita nabanggit nya about the Veron family at si Alex sa munisipyo nga daw nagwowork at matagal na daw silang hiwalay ni Anna Marie...(I don't know) alam kaya ni Arnel I'm sure kasi sinusubaybayan din nya buhay nya hahaa...kasi po naging parte ng buhay nya 25yrs ago di ba Bong alam mo yun..kaya lang di daw sya magustuhan nun kasi di sya mayaman ...pero yung" bridge" ang nagkagusto guess who"Luningning ng buhay nya..kaya nung nabigo lumipat na sa Papaya after 2nd yr..haha di ba??Gwen kla ko ba dati sabi nya tumitingin daw sya eye level di ba mas matangkad ka naman sa kanila hahaha...then after so many years one night umattend ako ng evening service sa St.John Methodist sa may Aurora and sumama si Arnel nagkita sila dun ni Luningning...di kaya bumalik ang nakaraan nya...but don't worry she is now married late na rin syang nag asawa....ryjoy ano pa ba mga balita sa bayan update mo naman kami...okey kakabsat naimbag nga rabii yo amin..till ti sumaruno nga blog..Have a good week...only Ron is holiday but the kids went to school today..now they have soccer game...

Its President's Day!

Hello, its Presidents day here in US and no school. Kaya and anak ko e tulog pa. Tama ka Sajoy, wala na ata gusto mag post dito. Busy ata lahat. My sister Grace is in LA till monday, flight nya dito pero di kami mabibisita kasi 2 days lang sya. Nasabi ko nga na umuwi sa fiesta. Maraming balita, like namatay ang brother ng Nanay saka, namatay nadin ang biyenan nya na lalaki. Madami na ang wala sa Rizal. Sabi nya wala na daw plaza kasi puro daw building na doon, like yung likod namin e meron ng clinic at iba pa. Tanong nga nya kung saan daw ang fiesta? I said, from what I understand e ni-renovate and plaza at maganda na ngayon. Ryjoy, di mo naman sinasagot ang tanong ko e! Tampo nako..Sino ba ang presidente sa Mr. & Mrs at kelan? Pwede mo ba kaming padalan ng invitation kahit via email? Scan nalang? Kung hindi pwede hard copy, o kaya yung copy e padala sa bahay ng sister ko sa BetterLiving, kay Ate Giselle. I will send you her address. Only if that is possible, i know you're busy.

Hello to everybody.....pansin ko parang wala na yatang gustong mag-post dito sa blogsite ngayon....i think busy lang tayong lahat..... i always open the site, pero pag walang bagong post, close ko agad.....but now, medyo may time na mag-post kaya i'm here......... Happy Valentines Day muna sa inyong lahat (i know it's too late for some of you, pero okay na rin..) Sabi nga ni Grace sa email niya, "let's make everyday a Valentines Day" kahit na si Ryjoy, Yuri and Candy e hindi nila kapiling ang kanilang mga sweethearts, let love and trust binds us together...... Know what? may bagong username pala itong blogsite natin....when you sign-in using the 1982gcigrads, magsa-sign-in ka ulit with its google account which is 1982gcibatch@gmail.com but with the same password......mahirap talaga yong madalang na ang post, naa-outdate na...hahaha.....
anyways, we've experienced 2 weeks of freezing cold here in Calgary and i think more snow is coming, but thank God coz we're all doing fine at medyo sanay na din sa lamig........the kids are off at school starting tomorrow till Monday, kaya mahaba ang weekend nila ngayon.....okidoks, hope to hear from all of you.......ASAP.......God bless us all!!!!

Hey guys!!!! I'm here

Sorry for my absence....we got busy last month for holidays and fixing the house that we got...we moved here 2weeks ago and it's not easy job to move..it's good that only on the same road at nagbayanihan naman Ron's family.. but there's still lot of small things to fix.. we just need more space for our growing family and also we are trying to get our 2old folks..they are in the process of getting their passport..and you know nawala na yung record ng birth certificate nila kaya inayos pa pero okey na..sabi kasi Ron to process na yung passport nila last year but we are not 100% kung makuha namin sila this year..ayoko namang magprocess sila then hindi matuloy..hopefully they won't give them a hard time to get their visit visa but Ron will make an invitation letter for them.. maybe by May andito na sila...coz they can stay here longer than us kung uuwi kami makakamura pa kami sa tiket 2adults lang..hopefully

Sorry to hear about Lowell maybe mareng Celle can get her visa so you can see them too and be with him during his surgery..it's hard if you have somebody in your family that is not doing good...(I'm sure kung makakapunta lang si mareng ryjoy lilipad na yan di ba hehehe biro lang )well pray for Lowell...like ustoo before Christmas when ate Thelma found out about her heart problem..she went to her doctor and advise her..she had 2choices do bypass heart surgery or valvotomy..so she is going back next month I think to get her schedule..but we decided to do Valvotomy coz it's non surgical procedure and less complication..it is a cardiac catheterization that they will insert into her groin guided into the chambers of her heart..pero may monitor para makita although she had to do that again after 8-10yrs..and she had a good doctor in Heart center he is a head of the dept.. and the machines are all updated which is good..I think she wants to do it by April..(during holy week para daw matagal bakasyon nya)

Regarding the contribution for the fiesta I'm "IN" let me know kasi pwede ko lang ipadala kay ate Thelma and she will bring it to ryjoy's office...siguro it will be better to put our section and batch" that's my suggestion but if you have better idea that's fine with me..
Oh well we had only less than 4mos for the kids to school but we will start again our winter game for soccer next week...and patapos na rin ang winter buti naman I like spring here it's good weather...buti si mareng ryjoy at Elmer and Bong kids less than 2mos..bakasyon na ng mga bata...okey mga kakabsat till next time manen have a good week to everybody...God Bless..miss you all

hello there! oh well medyo naging busy din ako last year so ako po eh nagbabalik sa piling ninyo although nababasa ko naman lahat ng mga updates ninyo.
About the kwento na di mai-kwento ni ryJoy is about Lowell. Last Nov. manong was admitted to the hospital in Illinois. At first he thought it was a severe migraine until he nearly lost his vision(left eye) dinala sya sa E.R , yun pala aneurysm so na-admit sya sa ICU for observation (he was conscious which is good)... he stayed in ICU for 5 days until they got the MRI result and it's AVM arteriovascularmalformation. The Dr. said it's an inborn na-aggravate lang kase nag we-weight lifting sya (for 2 years now) buti nga naagapan ang bleeding but it's still there and anytime it may burst, kaya yun he's taking anti-hypertensive drugs. They have 4 options according to the neurosurgeon, 1) leave it as it is, 2) radiation tx, the recurrence is 80%,
3)ligation, which is not good, 4)surgery, they will remove the vein, sinlaki nga raw ng apple. the chance is 85 - 15. Mahirap din ang surgery although wala ngang recurrence pero yun 15% naman dun sya natatakot. They will do 3 embolization before the surgery on March. Today is his 1st embolization, di ko pa sya nate-text, ayaw nya ako kausapin naiiyak daw sya. Matagal ko na silang di nakikita since 1999 pa. Si Ethelyn (she's in Seattle) nagpunta dun nung nasa ICU si manong tapos babalik sya before surgery and hopefully magrant ako ng visa before the operation, I really want to see them. Binigay nga sa akin ni ryJoy yung website ng US embassy Belfast, thanks ryJoy!
Last Christmas nagkausap kami nasa trabaho na uli sya. O.k na rin ang eye sight nya. Thank you din daw ryJoy for your prayers.

It has been a busy 2 weeks for me...endlesss xmas parties, reunion, bday celebration, shopping, cooking, wrapping of gifts...grabe talaga...Christmas is really the busiest season for me at sumabay pa na busy na rin with new work kaya ayan di na ako nakapost..But it was a good therapy for me...di ako masyado nalungkot kase it was our first xmas na wala si Rad...but thanks to the internet..nasa webcam kami the whole time kaya as if he was here during noche buena and media noche.Inggit nga lang sya kase wala naman sila marami handa sa abu dhabi (he spent the new year and xmas doon kase nandon ang sister nya)

Wow..biglang ang sipag ni Grace nagpost ah...sa wakas nagkaroon ka din ng free time...nakakatuwa ano..kids grow so fast sa susunod mga dalagita na din ang mga anak mo katulad ng mga anak namin ni Sajoy. Gwen, pwede na pumili si Liam sa mga kids ni Grace...ang gaganda nila...

I was able to talk to Celle noong Christmas and she told me nababasa nya lahat ng post natin and she told me she will tell you about yong story na nabanggit ko na...bumubwelo pa sya.Mas ok na sya ang magkwento kase mas may "feeling".

Gwen, pakisabi sa Nanay mo Merry Christmas...Nanay, Tatay , Sheila and her daughter,kelsy spent the xmas and new year here. Kakauwi lang nila kanina. Dumating din ang kapatid ni Nanay na si Tita Neng from New Jersey kaya naging busy din ako maging chaperone sa shoppingan.

Sajoy, Grabe 2 teen agers ka na pala...eh di kinakabahan ka na rin...kailangan ingatan na ang ang mga teen agers sa mga umaaligid na BOYS...Remember ganyang edad tayo nagkaroon ng mga crush...Alam mo ba na inaawitan din ako ng mga anak ko ng electric guitar pero sabi ko di ko pa afford,,,hehehe kaya yong regular guitar lang ang nabili ko..

Si Candids kaya nasan na???parang tamad na ah...o baka sya naman ang pikon...hahaha...tandaan mo MARE ang maasar ay TALO...hahaha

As usual ,ang new year celebration dito sa Manila ay MAINGAY...kaya ayun ang dami naputukan..Kami Lusis and fountain lang...dati kase bumibili si RAD ng mga "sawa" eh kami naman takot magpapaputok kaya ayun nanood na lang kami ng paputok ng mga kapitbahay..hahaha

Happy New Year to everybody......Kumusta ba ang New Year ninyo. Mga kakabsat, hindi ba ninyo nami-miss ang firecrackers sa Pinas...wa-tu-si, labintador, judas belt, fountain etc. Ryjoy and Elmer, ano ba ang binili ninyo for the salubong ng New Year....hope you have lots of fun...
Here's a picture of our three daughters (jen, giddel & gian). Jen turned 13 today...kaya dalawa na ang teenagers ko...parang kailan lang na ako ang teenager, ngayon ako na ang may mga anak na teenies. We didn't prepare too much food 'coz she wants an electric guitar so we'll just buy her one this week ( a complete set with amplifier).

Yuri, we're waiting for your post... hopefully, with pictures so we can see your family.... wait namin ha??!!!:)

Thanks to auntie Joy for giving us again the password and user name for the blog site! Sorry, I should have mention that in my first post! She always come first "to the rescue" whenever I have a problem in posting:-)

Here we are again, I've managed to get a better family picture. Although it wasn't easy taking photos of all the three little ones because it's hard to keep them still! Lucky, something came into my mind, I've tried and it worked! Then they were all became happy to have photos taken with the help of brive! Ano pa di lollies!!!!
